Althaia is said to be the ancient name of Altea. It's a Greek word meaning "I heal" or "I'm healthy." And for us it symbolizes the two pillars of this project: on the one hand, our philosophy of brewing ethical beers, 100% natural with product-friendly techniques. The story of Althaia is also a beautiful love story:when Mayte came to Alicante, to continue his professional career in the world of wine, he met Jorge. One day trying Jorge's beers, Jorge confessed that his dream was always to live on what he liked most, to make beer. Both, passionate about crafting, didn't think twice.
