Description
A very nice vintage from the estate, the Château Brun 2018 presents all the qualities of a great Saint-Émilion Grand Cru.
Located on the hillsides north-west of Saint-Émilion, the Château Brun vineyards spread over 10.95 hectares of vines all in one piece, with an excellent southern exposure. The great clay-limestone soil is at the heart of this estate, which has belonged to the Brun family since 1571.
A blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%), the Château Brun 2018 is matured for 18 months in oak barrels (5%) and tanks (90%).
The nose offers a beautiful aromatic complexity, while the palate evolves great elegance and roundness, stretching into a beautifully persistent finish. A gorgeous vintage of Château Brun, which will evolve perfectly in the cellar in the years to come.
