Description
Bodega Esteban Martin is a large, modern winery in the heart of Cariñena, a relatively flat, pretty hot wine region in the central north east quarter of Spain, about one quarter the size of Rioja to the north.
The vines here grow on dry, stony soils at around 500 metres above sea level in view of the Iberian mountains.
The area is probably best known for its great value reds made mainly from Garnacha and increasingly for crisp, fruity dry whites, and that is exactly what we have focused on here.
