COLOUR.    This organic red wine shows a vivid and dark cherry hue with granatose rim, high layer. The red wine Gratavinum 2 Pi· R forms a marked, visibly colored teardrop in the cup.

NOSE. A blend of Cariñena, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah of a remarkable aromatic intensity defined by a lot of very ripe red fruit together with mineral tones and nuances of Mediterranean undergrowth. The time in barrel gives it light touches of cocoa and creamy toasted.

MOUTH.   Pleasant entrance, with volume, spacious and tasty. This wine from the Gratavinum winery offers soft sensations next to ripe tannins that still show their rougher side, together with a balanced acidity. Its passage through the mouth has a lot of fruit that ends with a very mineral character typical of the Priory. A long aftertaste with a fresh and fleshy finish is appreciate

A red wine of organic viticulture with DOQ prioritat, made with two of the most traditional varieties of the region, garnacha tinta and carinena completing the coupage with the foreign cabernet sauvignon and Sirah.

The vinification lasts for 19 days and is carried out in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Once the fermentation processes have been completed, the red wine Gratavinum 2 Pi· R 2019 remains for 14 months in new and 2nd year barrels of French and Hungarian oak. At the end of the aging period, this red wine from Priorat was stabilized and bottled without having filtered, so it may present natural precipitates.

We recommend decanting this red wine with aging about 30 minutes before serving so that it expresses its full potential in fullness
