Description
Salinas 1237 is the highest-end wine from the Sierra Salinas winery . Only around 2,000 bottles are made with Garnacha Tintorera from the oldest vines on the estate, more than 50 years old. Monastrell and, to a lesser extent, Cabernet Sauvignon also participate in the blend . The name of the wine comes from the highest elevation of the Sierra de Salinas , which is 1,237 meters.
Very complex, with intense notes of ripe black fruit intertwined with subtle spices, touches of dark chocolate and dried fruits.
Juicy, with very present fruit and liquorous and balsamic notes. Long and elegant finish.
